Outstanding Day For The Walk!
The Optimist Club sponsored our first-ever nature walk at Riverbend Park highlighting the natural flora with bluebells galore! Optimist Club Treasurer Linda Thompson and her two grandsons, Colton and Lincoln, joined Fairfax County Park Naturalist Tom Blackburn for the 1.5 hour walk. Although the eagle chicks didn't cooperate for a pic, everyone enjoyed the chance to view them from across the Potomac. Thanks to all who attended!
